So, I come on here because it's THE ONLY place where I feel free to discuss my personal experience coping with Lyme and Co's....BUT

One of my comments was massively edited out because I expressed my personal faith belief w/regards to human error. That's rejection, and everyone else has rejected me and now THIS FORUM!

I thought this was a safe place FOR EVERYONE? IF my post had involved any reference to Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, or The big bang theory(science),it wouldn't have been deleted or edited...

If I READ others posts that include their spiritual experience with their illness, IT WOULD NOT OFFEND Me, So why is my personal expression considered a "possible offense" towards others...this is discrimination.

Now I have NOWHERE to connect up because my faith belief that is INTERTWINED w/my Lyme disease experience isn't allowed

I've had something like that happen before. I was told that I was scaring people, because I was trying to draw the point that not all stories have happy endings.

Well, that's the basic jist of it anyway.

Though, the message(s) you were trying to convey seem a little more friendly, so it seems even more unfair for them to have been censored.

But, yeah, being stifled. Fun stuff. Is why I stopped posting for the most part.

Hope you and the rest manage to find a middle ground, so the forum can continue being a beneficial experience for you.

The post you're talking about was entirely about your faith.

These are the rules of the forum. The Moderators don't create the rules, but it is our job to enforce them.

From the Forum Rules:

Sweetpeaisme - You are not being rejected...please don't feel that way. We just have to monitor posts....and make sure the rules are being followed.

That number 6 rule was by NO WAY violated = not applicable...using that rule-out-of-context to justify editing my post is not acceptable.

I say AGAIN,
MY faith IS WHO I AM. Its literally impossible to leave my faith out of ANY aspect of my life.

W/regards to 'the practice' of religion-thats a matter of interpretation. I practice my religion IN EVERY ASPECT of my life, andnI believe in the freedo OF not FROM, as in away or apart from, but OF RELIGION. Freedom OF EXPRESSION.

Yes, people get offended...thats life!
