My opinion is do not stress out your body. If you have been used to that coffee and wine - don't stop it cold turkey. You will be stressing your body. Cut down slowly.
We all have to figure out what works for us and your body will let you know.
I never gave up my morning coffee but I slowly quit putting the organic sugar in it and started using stevia vanilla flavored from whole foods. I quit the cream in my coffee and started using coconut milk vanilla flavor. I also never gave up my wine. Now I did not do it every night, but definitely once a week I had a glass.
If I had of found that my healing was not doing better, I probably would have given up my wine and coffee. But, I healed and still did those things.
As for my food - never junk food - I think I was in high school the last time I had that. Never fast food, that was about 40 years ago. Never packaged food. I love real food. I don't fry stuff or boil the heck out of it. I minimize pasta unless it is quinoa or rice pasta. I have to freeze a loaf of bread because we barely eat it, but when we do it is sourdough. Lots of fish, grass fed beef, bison burgers, organic chicken and all the vegetables in the world. Hubby and I do not do sweets and even a bowl of fruit can jack us up. So if we have fruit it has to be in the mid morning and no later or we are like a couple of 2 year olds bouncing off the walls.
