Also, the body is going to use ingredients that you give it to build cells (the trillion cells that make up your existence). If you eat birthday cake and drink jack daniels everyday then you will have birthday cake and JD quality cells.
This is a great quote. I want to put it on my fridge.
When I got sick, I was really not eating well. I don't drink anyway, but I would go on these strict diets that didn't give me enough nutrients (to lose three pounds or whatever) and I would eat a lot of candy sometimes. I was under so much stress at work that my body just hit the wall. I think diet is really important. I hate eating well because I love junk food, but I think dacarte3 is right. I had an about
-face when I got sick -- I got out of the stressful environment and changed my diet. I think about
food as fuel now. How can I get the most bang for my buck as far as nutrients versus calories? I still eat dessert some days but only if I've had all the good healthy stuff too.
I think about
everything now as far as building my immune system. That's really key. All theses symptoms are magnified if you have a bunch of junk in your body.
