Hi All-
I recently had a consultation with an herbalist who does muscle testing. She was out of state, so the consultation was over the phone. I have used her in the past and found that while she was VERY accurate on pinpointing issues, her methods of healing didn't seem to do much for me. However, I have several in-laws in my family that have used her for everything to brain tumors and heart complications with success.
She told me some things that I already suspected myself via listening to my intuition, like to stay away from all forms of corn.
I had her test many of my herbs and supplements - I was truly curious to see if what I was doing was working.
----She said that my LDN and Cryptolepis were working against me. And I had just bought 2 big bottles of CSA!!!
-----She said Sida Acuta, Japanese Knotweed, Ashwaganda and Chaga extract were all excellent for me. I was concerned about the Aswaganda because each time I take it, I sleep great but wake up with horrible cystic acne. She said it is helping to detox me. But I can't find anywhere online that says Ashwagandha does this or causes acne.
---The following were also good for me, but not at this point in time: red root, Houttuynia, Artemisinin, and Hawthorne.
So in order to save $$, I have been practicing self testing. Doing this I have discovered one really distinct herb that makes me really weak - Oil of Oregano. Sometimes I test an herb and get various answers, but this one is always a big negative.
Do any of you self test? Do you find that not everything is always consistent in answers? I try to clear my mind, focus and take drinks of water, but will sometimes get different answers when I re-test.
