Has anyone had it to where they don't even get a cold or anything..like their body isn't fighting anything off at all>

This is a common "symptom," yes, if you can call it that. There have been a few posts about it. Most people talk of missing the more garden variety sicknesses.

I'm one of them. I'd kill for some bronchitis or something right now. A good ol' fashioned cough, runny nose, fever, all that.

Haven't experienced anything like that in about 6 or 7 years.

In my mind, it means your immune system is doing its job.

Why it concerns me..... I don't think my body is fighting anything

I'm one of them too.

I used to get several colds a winter. After getting Lyme, I never got sick for almost 3 years.
The first winter after starting antibiotics, I got a really bad cold, plus a fever.

Welcome back immune system.

Well I would welcome it for sure...I would rather have one than not have one...I don't run fevers or anything

Count me in I used to be that way, here lately I've gotten sick a few times, lately chest and head.cold. I remember my family getting the flu not me. Maybe my immune system is working better don't know last time I had a CD 57 test it was really low like 20 in which it should be 150. I due believe that is an immune system test.

Yes I used to get a cold at least once or twice a year and suffer with allergies. Things that used to make me sneeze didn't anymore. I've been like this for about 2.5 years. However about a week ago, I began sneezing again to something in the air. I was ecstatic and shocked.

Yeah I'm among the people that never get regular colds or flus either generally.

I think it is more like your immune system is super active. It might be that intracellular chronic infections shift it into being imbalanced towards TH2. So we can't clear the intracellular bacteria but we're super effective at getting rid of typical extracellular pathogens. I don't know if I fully buy this as the immune system is really complex, but something along these lines could be happening.

In my mind this makes more sense than the explanation that it means our immune systems aren't fighting anything. People with AIDS truly have an immune system that isn't fighting. They generally get colds and never get rid of them, to the point where they die from pneumonia.

I don't get it that our immune system is shot either. If so, we would be really sick, wouldnt we?

I never got colds/flus much prior to lyme...and one ND was concerned.

That doesn't make sense to me...

I'm thinking like Project..that our immune system is more hyperactive now since lyme.

I think it can be either over or under and that is why the immune system remodulation is part of buhner's core protocol.

Cat's Claw is an herb that will balance out the immune system whether it is over or under active.

I have really started to feel better the last two months and about Jan I started to run a fever at night and get night sweats-which I haven't had since I got really sick 8 years ago. I took this as a great sign-I remember Dr Rau speaking about how a fever or night sweats are great for people with any chronic condition-it means the immune system is starting to do its job again.
Hopefully this can continue-seeing my doc tomorrow and getting ozone UV

I don't know but my doctor said that my immune system shifted and instead of being balanced, I had T2 dominance going on and where the T1 should respond, it is very slow in doing so. I have been taking cats claw for about 4 months. I do think that something is happening in a positive way.

Also I used to be someone who would sweat a bit when it was hot. Then that stopped, but I never paid it any mind. Started doing HOCATT and some other ozone treatments and my last session, my body was really sweating even at a somewhat low temp.

Yesterday I was out in the heat and though I wasn't sweating like I normally would have, I did begin to sweat. So again improvement.
