Anyone here have severe external hemrroids? I am detoxing, I don't have an issue with constipation. But I am now going to have to have an outpatient surgery to remove an external hemrroid because I have been treating it for 2 months and it just WILL NOT go away!!!!! Ugh!!!!

Yes, I do. Not sure if it's from lyme or not. Been having lots of bleeding. I keep going to my doc to ask him if it's cancer. He keeps reassuring me it's not. I don't trust doctors, but I have no way of knowing whether he's right or not. He refuses to let me get a biopsy.

If it's not cancer, then I'm not worried, and I just ignore it.

I know what you mean. Unfortunately this one is huge and won't go away so they want to remove it. I asked if they would test it and they said they would. I guess we will see what happens.

normally the GI issues that lyme and co causes can cause hemorrhoids (constipation, diarrhea). But if you haven't experienced any of that then I don't know.

However, hemorrhoids is simply the pressure, not just from constipation, diarrhea. But the pressure. So if are not going regularly (which lyme and co often inhibits) the pressure can build up. It's why pregnant women get hemorrhoids because of the pressure, not necessarily constipation/diarrhea.

Red blood is generally not cancer. It is the coffee grounds looking blood that is scary for cancer.

A quick swab from the doc will tell her immediately on a test strip.

Ya red itchy painful another syptom i forgot about til recently...maybe glutithione but likely abx or i heard even parasites...there was a remedy on other forum but it used dehydration and i am already a raisen.. need a laser butplug ?lol

If the blood is red, then it just means the cancer is lower down - closer to rectum. If it's black, then it's higher up in the colon.

When I saw an internist to schedule a colonoscopy, he asked if I had any bleeding, and I said I did, but it was from my hemrroid.
He insisted on checking....and did an internal and said it was.

But he didn't do a biopsy to confirm....

Mine was from years of diarrhea - the constant wiping.
