Is anyone using Dapsone?

I'm currently being treating for Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia. Currently, I'm taking Mepron and Azithromycin to go after the Babesia. My doctor is suggesting that I could add Dapsone to the mix. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with this yet. I know that is a relatively new treatment option.

Girlie - My doctor suggested adding Dapsone to go after babesia in a more intense way - that it might kick-start attacking babesia. My doctor said it was Dr. H. that talks about using Dapsone.

It was discussed in the online summit in April. I asked my LLND about it and his response was while some Dr's are using his research found that the studies just aren't there yet. The farther he dug the less he was confident. There was a fatality weeks after stopping the drug from a reaction. There have been too many serious negative reactions.
He showed me the info online and it's crossed off of my lists.
