So glad some of you are also on the up and up!!
Happyjoe, Hang in there. I just couldn't keep looking for the next miracle cure. When I found myself checking out with a very harmful chemical because it was said to be the next miracle cure, I decided to just stop reading the articles and leave the treatment be with to what I had researched and decided on with my LLMD. The risk that some people are taking is very scary and sad. I hope the Govt. wises up soon and does some research to help Lyme sufferers so we know decidedly what works and what doesn't. Make sure you don't lose your support if you decide to take a break. I am very blessed to have a family to lean on that keeps me in check. The friends you meet on this site and vent to are irreplaceable and incredibly valuable!!
Peteza, that is so awesome that your doing better. So happy for you!! It certainly does put things in perspective, doesn't it.
Girlie, I've thought a lot about
you and wondered how you were doing.
I really just stayed the course with ABX. I was mostly on Doxy (winter) or Mino (summer) with Azithro with some occasional changes to biaxin, tinidazole, mepron, hydroxychloroquine, and amoxacillin along with several support meds (Heparin, T3, Artemesian, D3, B12, fish oil ) and whatever pain management meds, sleep meds, and antidepressants i was on (medical Marijuana replaced all of these when i was able to take it). I wish one treatment worked for all of us. I hope you heal soon!!
