I agree that it's best to have it checked - you don't want to avoid treatments that may be able to help and you want to be sure that there is no "real" damage and it's just the nerves. We say the same things about
heart issues and other things as well. Lyme and company can cause a number of issues that may need treatment until the infections driving the condition (Lyme and co) can be sufficiently addressed.
