This feels a bit different from what you are describing though... I am actually DOING odd/weird things( and not remembering it happening) as opposed to all the things you have described which involve forgetting to do things. Maybe it's a different manifestation of the same thing... It seems worse/scarier /more dementia like to me.
Hi, I fully understand, this was actually what made me realize something serious was going on. Whether it was the Lyme or not, I wasn't sure at first, but my experiences have been:
Most significant: I was preparing lunch for work the next day. I recall the activity of preparing the lunch and cleaning up. I don't remember anything after that, but several hours later I woke up in the bed (mattress only) in a spare bedroom that I NEVER go in...the door stays shut and there is no light, so I had no reason to go in there, let alone lie down on the mattress when I had been restfully watching TV in my own bed before getting up to prep the lunch.
Most of the other experiences include finding things in odd places, like ice cream in fridge, putting things down in atypical places and then not remembering the action of putting them there. Other experiences include just not remembering my activities the night before and either doing something twice (brush teeth/wash face) because I forgot that I just did it 20 minutes ago, or not doing it at all because I was sure that I did. More frequently I'm briefly forgetting what I'm doing at the moment, like I have to think about
every action, even with my routine of getting ready for work in AM.
Like someone else said, it comes in waves, sometimes its really bad. I have had some other cognitive issues also, like forgetting train of thought, words, etc.
