who was dx clinical dx not blood test?

was wondering how many of you had neg blood tests but were dx by clinical observation.

My IgeneX was inconclusive, but the Ispotlyme was positive. My doctor put those test together along with my mile long list of symptoms to diagnosis me. He said that in his experience ispotlyme tends to give false positive and that is why he does two test and goes by symptoms.

I had an inconclusive test, and another positive test, called the IFA immunoblot assay. It was a process of elimination of other ailments, and based on my symptoms and tick exposure pretty safe to say it is lyme.

I know we don't have any data on it, but I would be very interested in seeing recovery statistics being compared between "big lab" CDC blood positives, IGENEX positive only and clinical DX's.

That's encouraging. How long have you been in treatment?

I started treatment at the begining of April. It took a month to start seeing improvement but when I did it was fairly consistent after that with a few bumps here and there.
I am at about 65% right now.

well as with many I had to change a little. But initially I started on rifampin, minocycline, plaquinil and Artemisinin pulsed. After about 4 months my Md had me change to Flagyl, Ceftin. I will continue to follow how I am doing and change as needed. I am hoping over time to be able to transition to some herbs
