I saw my CFS doctor today. She still doesn't believe I necessarily have Lyme, but I showed her these red dots that have appeared all over my upper arm and she says they're an indicator of Bartonella.
The weather has just become a lot warmer here in the Southern hemisphere. Coincidentally, I couldn't work out why I had been doing so much worse the past 3 days -- I was bad, but stable. The only thing I've been doing differently is sitting out in the sun. Now, I wake up every morning now with burning eyes (a new symptom), my balance problems are worse, I am more sleepy/fatigued, bloated and I have increased neuropathy in my arms/legs.
Is it possible this could be a herx and that the warmer temperatures are killing something like Bartonella?
Red dots on the skin are usually an indicator of Babesia, not of Bartonella.I've read that dots resembling blood marks indicate Babesia, but that big colonies of dots (i.e. petechial rash) are Bart. Not sure if that's correct. Maybe it could be either.
