Hello so i broke down and had a piece of pita bread from greek restaurant, afterward i got sinus pressure on top of head and phelgm, im on antibiotics still, but notice whenever i eat bread or something like fruit i develop this, so annoying. i noticed few weeks back i took a break from the antibiotics for a couple of days bcuz of head pressure, and i felt so much better, but of course I am back on now i have to finish the course i just wanted to see how i felt. has anyone experience this, most part its seems to be diet related.

Probably, though there isn't much yeast in pita bread, it's still got some gluten in it. Someone may suggest something to help with the Candida.

I'm not good at all about avoiding that group of foods of anything that converts to sugar, and am in a constant state of sinus pressure, phelgm(mucus production) and headaches because of it.
Dairy too, I'm afraid.

hello i see you were diagnosed with rmsf, how are ur symptoms now, have they improved at all, how is your treatment helping, i was diagnosed 2 mos ago with rmsf, still on azithromysin and doxy have 4 wks to go on antibiotics and take herbs also Abar 1. im not much of a carb person but one pita made my head pressure come on ugh.

My internist didn't want to treat me, tried to get me an appt. with an LLMD, not knowing it was cash only. My doc knows I have to use medicaid or nothing. So, the thing is, even if I am wrong and didn't get the RMSF infection back in 92, he didn't get around to looking at my results and treating me for another 3 months last year. THe abx drove it into my head, and I couldn't tolerate Flagyl.

I herxed the whole 2nd half of 2015 because I didn't know how to detox or anything. I came on here looking for info on RMSF, and not finding anything, I spent all my forum time reading Lyme and co. symtoms, reading links, watching videos, and realized I'd had Lyme all along (since around '85, with the co's, and the RMSF since '92. Far too late for mainstream treatment with abx. Lots of internal damage to my vascular system including what the Doctors are calling COPD, among other limiting problems.

I'm trying to do herbal protocol, a little at a time, and keep having to start over because my adrenal system keeps weakening. I have bad days and good days, considering.

I don't know how much of the rickettsia are left in me, I couldn't get the Doc to let me test for it again. The aching fevers are gone, but I've learned that the cooler weather helps me on that. I don't have a/c and Missouri heat and humidity so this summer and last summer I ran non-stop fevers and just felt like I was burning up just under my skin.

Actually, I've been like that every summer but had no clue it was because I was sick.

I'm alive, surprisingly, considering what I've read about RMSF.

poocheeze are you noticing any different since your treatment began? I mean anything positive? You're lucky you're getting two abx at a time. I was given them in succession.

I kind of liked the zithro, but again, that was during the later part of last Fall into Winter, so I might have been feeling better anyway.

I avoid all breads and gluten. I do still dabble in organic dairy. I helped my Candida with strict organic vegetable and meat only diet along Tabasco sauce, coconut oil, garlic and lemon juice plus kiefr and kombucha. I still eat this way and won't change it. I have started earthing and that has been a small game changer for me.
