artemisinin and artemisia

Just wondering has anyone taken both at the same time?  Ive been told to take artemisinin sod and iherb Artemisia at the same time 7 days on 7 days off by my llnd. 

My worries are ive tried artemisinin(nutricology)  once and only made it to day two and had  a really bad herx so I stopped.  Just never read anyone doing both at the same time.  I cant imagine what this combo may do to me.  Although the artemisinin sod sounds like its got a bunch of extra stuff in it that may be beneficial.

I've never heard of taking both at the same time, but I don't see why it would be a bad idea.
Just start slow so your herx doesn't get too crazy.

If you don't notice any herx with the SOD formula, I'd personally switch back to Nutricology or to Zhang. I'm sure this Researched Nutritionals one is good, but I know the Nutricology is probably the most popular, and from personal experience I've found Zhang's to be the strongest.

The dose im suppose to take is 2 pills twice a day and 2ml twice a day 7 days on 7 days off.

I know this will be too much to start from my experiment with the nutricology artemisinin i tried 200mg 3 times a day for a total of 600 and i only made it to the end day 2 and i was completely useless at that point.

Unless these versions arent as strong but im doubting that. Guess i need to decided how much to attempt as they both are finally here.

For what reason does your doctor want you doing both?

Im not 100% sure why. He was talking about the two and for some reason I had it in my head it was to do either or. He sends the plan via email because these are over the phone appt's and they go fast, its easy to forget stuff etc. So with my misunderstanding that it was both not either or I didn't ask more about it and maybe I missed it, as I was having a hard time hearing him that day and the apts go fast.

I did get confirmation that it was both and not just one after I saw the plan I double checked to make sure it wasn't a typo. Just wondering why if anyone else has done this.

I think my plan will be to start slower and try to ramp up to his dose if I can but I will have to play it by ear.
