My doc is suggesting I try a protocol that involves IV ozone ( mixed with your own blood), a chelating agent ( EDTA or DPMS), and a bunch of IV minerals. I met a young man at the same Center I am going to who was healed using this method after just 3 months. I am so sick of feeling sick I am thinking of trying. My doc thinks I have both lyme and mercury poisoning. I am planning on moving forward with this next week. Does anyone think this may be risky for any reason? I will start slow...thank you

Were you tested for mercury poisoning?

I think that protocol could be good for mercury removal...but dont think it's enough for lyme.
But, can you not also do a lyme protocol at the same time?

I don't know enough about it to say if there are any risks to that protocol.

Hopefully some people with experience/knowledge on this subject will comment.

Yes, I was tested. My mercury is slightly on the higher side but it's not extremely high. Lyme is also indeterminate only positive for a few bands on igenix. I think I'm going to try it if there are no huge risks..

Most people that have used IV ozone have mixed results. Some were completely healed, others feel better but not completely healed, some felt as though they were, only to have symptoms return once IV's were stopped.

I've done IV ozone and it was a great help to me. Who knows I may have been in the completely healed group, if I would have done it longer. But I also did other IV's ( glutathione, Meyers cocktails, etc) and services (sauna, PEMF) at the clinic I was at.

I wish you success for complete healing.

I don't know much about your treatment, just want to mention not to forget detoxing, it is vital for healing. Best of luck

My wife did Ozone IV I think 6 sessions with UVB it did nothing for her. I tried one session didn't do anything.

Personally this approach doesn't sound comprehensive enough for me. I'd want some antibiotics in that mix somewhere whether it's oral or IV. This approach is relying solely on Ozone and your immune system to fight Lyme and that doesn't seem to work for most people esp ones that have gone chronic. Just my 2.
