More questions than answers...

Hello,
I had my first dr. Appt today since my Lyme test. My results are still indeterminate. I'm waiting on my isotope results from Igenix. My positive bands were 30, 31 and 41. 39, 83 and 93 were indeterminate.
Based on what I read, I thought I for sure I had Lyme due to a lot of the bands being Lyme specific. My doctor says otherwise, and won't confirm Lyme until I get the other results. However, she agreed to put me on a 3 week round of Doxy along with a couple different kinds of probiotics. It's a good start I think...

She is not an llmd, however, she seems knowledgeable about Lyme. What's bothering me, is that I left her office feeling like it's going to be a really rough road ahead. She basically said that there are so many Lyme protocols and figuring out what's going to work for any one individual is very hard.

She also said that there's a new Lyme treatment book everyday, and that so many of these books have very little science backing them. She's open minded about all of it, but questions everything as well. I guess this is good, but I left feeling less than confident. I know there are no easy answers to this, but I've managed to live feeling crappy (a lot of the time for 35 years now)and I worry that treating this might actually make me feel worse! And I'll still have Lyme☹️.
I really don't feel like being a Guinea pig. Any advice would be very appreciated.

I should note that she's happy to give me names of llmds even though she doesn't seem to totally trust them.

Did you mean the Epitope test to confirm band 31 is Bb?

I think even with a positive test, your Dr will only be willing to treat you for several weeks at best.
That's good that she is open minded and will share some names of LLMD's

Thank you, that brings me to my next set of worries...
My children! Although they seem to be physically healthy, I'm quite concerned that 2 of them may have contracted Lyme from me.
They have mild learning disabilities and mild ADD. They both have IEP's with an (other health impairment label). Meaning, they haven't really been diagnosed with anything specific. One of them is starting to have some ocd tendencies and paranoia. She's 10 and it just kind of came out of no where 6 months ago. Someone on this forum suggested "Pandas". Who knows?
Once I get my definitive (hopefully) diagnosis and find a good llmd, I'll be getting my kids tested too!
