I was looking for Buhner supplements to help with pain. I saw on a post that he recommended Kudzu root tincture. I just ordered the non-alcohol tincture for my son, but he herxes on the smallest dose of everything...he can barely take the cats claw and that's all he is taking. Anyone have experience with this herb and whether it causes a herx?

Welcome back, Emily!
I take Kudzu and I haven't herxed on it.
I take Kudzu, Greater Celandine, (for neural pain), and Hawthorne all together.

I'm taking the Kudzu tincture, not at full dose yet, but I haven't herxed from it that I know of. That being said, you know all of us are different as to what we're going to react to.

I would just say with all things start slow. I take it sometimes but not for pain.

Hi Emily,
Kudzu is one of those that I had to take very slowly. For some reason the first two times I tried it I broke out with light hives on my back.
I started it again a couple months ago, just because I keep hearing good things about
it. I am not having any issues but I am only up to 9 drops because anytime I move too fast on it I herx.
Best of luck with it. I hope it works well for your son. Just be sure and have him detox as much as possible.
