Buhner protocol question????

So after you start "core protocol" slowly and titrate up to max dosages then do you start to use his treatment recommendations for Babesia and Bartonella???

I couldn't agree more with what another member said as far as spending $1,000+ on all these tests, just assume you have all three B's and treat them.

So when do you start the treating the other two????

Drez, you will get many different answers on this question. It is something you will have to decide for yourself.

I found that many of symptoms that people told me were Bart or Babs were "cured" with the basic core protocol.

I had glass in my feet, air hunger, I had one (1) scratch mark on my stomach.

Anyway, all of those went away with the core protocol, but to cover my bases, I did Bart and Babs treatment after the core.

Like I said, everyone will give you a different answer. I think Buhner suggests going after your most horrible symptom first and the herb for that may not be in the core protocol.

My Llmd publishes an 85% cure rate. I asked how it is measured, since tests are inconclusive and we have a hugely difficult time establishing presence, let alone presence and subsequent absence! !! He said mostly when symptoms subside and people feel better ...

I would agree with the above, treat the worst, stick with it for however long, listen to you body and add in as you feel ready

Yup - symptom free for two + months = symptom free.

july - I didn't realize that the co-infection protocols were in the Lyme 2nd edition.

I went and bought the Bartonella book...I would have maybe been better off buying the lyme book!!

Everything you never wanted to know about Bartonella, heh? I think a well rounded library should have them all.


What he's done is first cover all the Borrelia aspects, then he goes into Chalmydia, and then "The spotted Fever Riicketsiae" (RMSF).

Organisms like Bart, and Babs, and other co infections are grouped towards the end after his "Materia Medica" section.

So it's probably a better idea having a book that deals completely in an infection you're harboring.
