Interesting comment from NP on heavy metals and treating Lyme

My doc that healed me the first time was going to do chelation therapy on me to deal with heavy metals, but choose to wait until I was stronger (I was pretty bad off back then - every doctor that I saw tried to get me to put myself into the hospital because they didn't want to get involved at that point). But, instead of waiting for that, I choose to do some things on my own. By the time I was strong enough to handle chelation, my doc was puzzled because I didn't seem to need it any longer - so I would say that at least some of us can do both at the same time.

I grew up with a mouth full (and I do mean full) of mercury fillings, so there's little doubt that I had issues, but again, it may not work for everyone.

So my wife started seeing an NP at Dr. J's practice in DC and she said you cannot detox heavy metals and treat Lyme at the same time. Her prior doctor was doing this so bit confused as to which one is correct? Any thoughts?

I wonder what the NPs reason for this is? The potential for more intense herx?
I'm being treated for all at once. I did however start abx wait a week between each to start then added DMSA to be able to ID what if any turned up the herx heat

I wouldn't suggest anyone rely on this - I certainly wasn't - but all I did was use cilantro and parsley in my green smoothies for about 4 months. I'm pretty sure they thought I was nuts buying all that fresh cilantro and parsley every week! LOL!

seems the general wisdom at Dr. J's practice is when you take care of the bugs many other things resolve themselves. i guess we'll see ;o)

Some homeopàths believe the bugs evolve to clean up the mess..@lso the isea why silver works to kill them ..they eat em and die ...i know i am mineral deficien . .@nd many med use mag co10 iron etc ..so ya i see the reasoning ..acv and bentonite baths are powerful @s is ion foot detoxs imo

Ya know, I saw a world renowned doctor who refused to do Ozone IV for me until I did some chelation.

HOWEVER, I did take EDTA orally while taking artemesinin, oregano, GFSE, Cat's Claw, and other antimicrobials.

I think the slow and steady way of detoxing heavy metals (removing yourself from metal exposure and boosting detoxification in every way you can) is just fine. It takes longer, but Lyme is a marathon.

That said, I did take EDTA combined with antimicrobials and the combo worked fine and I haven't looked back.

Glad someone agrees with my finding that the ionic foot bath works!
I tested myself lately and laid off a couple of weeks and wham! In. The. Floor. I was using my moms unit and knew I needed to get it back to her and bought a less than $200 Fromm Amazon (cause this crap is a budget breaker ...... can I get an amen?!) my Lyme survivor mentor pointed me to Chlorella and I'm glad she did. It's a huge help knowing I don't have to time it away from abx or all the other stuff
