I have seen the message stating that the email service will no longer be free. However now I can't even find a link to access the HealingWell Email anywhere! Can any of the Mod's fill me in as to what is going on? Your help would be appreciated!

The option should be right under the window when you post.

For me, it's the very first option under the comment box....but you need to check it to be notified of reply postings by e-mail.

Is this what you're asking about?

Don - are you asking about the Subscribing to a thread option?
This is when you get notified by email when someone has posted on a paricular thread.

That option is above the top post of thread.

I think he may be talking about the actual email service that this site had. I used it for a while, but I switched a few years ago to a Gmail account instead because it's easier for me to use (mainly for the font options, lol) and because a few years ago Admin was considering not renewing the contract with them. It's was a 3rd party email service.

I'm very sorry that they didn't give more notice Don!! Do you need to access that account? Just trying to figure out what questions to ask to help you.

I can't find the word "email" anywhere on HealingWell's page at all. There is nothing to click on to access my email. I also used to have a shortcut url to click on if I wanted to just access my email without going to the Lyme forum. Now it is a dead link. It's now as if HealingWelll email does not exist for me!

The warning that I had received was that the email service would change over to a paid service on the 23rd of this month. I was going to pay now, but it no longer exists for me.

The problem is that I have had many people contact me over the last several years, and I have ongoing conversations with some of them. I really need to retrieve those contacts. I was supposed to be able to access my free email until the 23rd. Now I can't even find the email site.

I wanted to let you know that I have now also emailed Admin about this to see if he can be of help. Again, I'll keep you updated on this thread, or you can email me. I don't think I have any other email address for you other than the one that you can't get into right now!

It's been 5 days since Admin was notified of my problem. Hopefully he has some hopeful news! I really really hope that I can retrieve my email info. What's the latest?

Here's the message I get when I attempt to access the email url:

Sorry, the requested email service has not been set up or has been suspended.<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">

Nothing so far, Don. I'm so very sorry. I will send him another email today though!!

Maybe we could start a thread to get the attention of those you email with? Do they still come here?

I finally got word from Admin!
"For now, users can get there through healing.mail.everyone.net

I had little notice of this myself, so it was a surprise. I hope this helps."

He also sent an apology for those that have been affected!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Traveler!!!

I subscribed to the paid email service and I've regained access to all of my emails. There were also several new email messages waiting for me.

It took a long time to get to this point, but its better late than never!

LOL! Sometimes it just 'takes a village' to get the help we need!!
