So I started treatment with Dr J's clinic in January. Before that I was taking medications for high blood pressure and at times Sudafed (which should raise my bp). It's always been good on the meds.
So in January, I started treatment. Pulsed week 1 MWF Bactrim, OMNICEF, Minocin; Wk 2 add Flagyl T/TH;wk 3 nothing.
Other changes
sleep meds - remove Ambien add Trazadone (stay asleep) & Hydroxyzine (fall asleep);
add Desmopressin for Diabetes insipidis - not really diabetes but same symptoms stops the brain from
telling the kidneys to continue emptying to bladder
Allegra & Zantac given my history of allergic reactions
curcuimin
Lamictal
Marinol (synthesized THC) - prescribed for "nausea" but insurance won't pay if its for pain
My other history that's relevant is that about
a year ago I ended up in the ER twice. Eventually a gastroenterologist determined I had an over growth of bacteria and that was causing pain & nausea. he put me on a special abx (Xifaxan) that targets the gut. If had to refill it at least 5 times. When I 1st went to Dr J's they were surprised that the gastro doc did have me 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
So my nausea and headaches got worse about
3 weeks ago (I think). I had a phone consult with the Clinic Last week and she increased my Zofran because of the nausea and added Topamax for the headaches.
When I first started on the protocol, some of my previous symptoms came rushing back. One was dizziness but it was worse than it ever had been & the nausea ramped up. After increasing the zofran & adding topamax nothing changed.
Four days ago it occurred to me I was also trembling & I wondered if my BP was too low. I couldn't find my meter so I just dropped the bp med for a few days. Each day the dizziness & nausea lessened but didn't go away.
Today, I found the meter. My blood pressure sitting avg 90/50. Thats so low I checked on my husband & his was finally. I checked it from sitting to standing & the lower number dropped to 40.
So I'm wonder has anyone else seen low blood pressure as a result of the treatment?
Thanks, Kim

I don't know what is going on with that Kim, I'm also on meds for High blood pressure, and it dropped a year ago like that...in the Dr's office he asked me if I was asleep.
So he halved my Lisinipril and I took it that way for quite some time then it went highish again (over 140 systolic), so I went back to full dosage.
Then Last Fall it bounced to extremes a few times, then leveled off. A month ago it got down to your numbers, and the systolic even lower. I was ready to head to the e.r. but rode it out.
It has to be related to the disease somehow. I was at the Doc's a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't notable, and I didn't bring it up, as he isn't an LLMD.
When it does that, I get wobbly and feel like I'm going to faint. If I'm already sitting I feel so weird..almost zombie like.
We are pretty sure here, that some months ago I did suffer a mini stroke.

i haven't experienced low bp since treatment.
Can you call Dr. J.'s office? I think it's something you should ask about
.
Do you know what the difference is between Marinol and Nabilone? I know they're both synthesized THC.
Are all those meds you listed from your LLMD...or are some from another Dr.?

When the top number drops from sitting to standing, that can mean adrenal fatigue. Close to a 10 points.

I'm going to call Dr J today but I wanted to answer the questions you guys asked.
It is the lower number that drops when I move from sitting to standing. Normally (in the past) my bp was 120/80 on the BP med. When I took it yesterday it was 70/45 to abt 90/50. This morning directly after I woke up 70/45.
The Marinol was prescribed by Dr J. I don't know why they pick that over the Nabilone but all my docs know what I'm on.
Other than that I have been sleeping a lot and I do fall asleep at the drop of a hat that has been the case since I started treatment.
