This is a very lonely disease, you are so right. I had extremely hard 2 years, and that did not help either.
I have a question, my tolerance for pain is usually high, but recently I realized my skin is so sensitive to the touch, and it hurts, today the nurse was checking my BP and the pain from the cuff was bad, anybody else have the same symptom?
I called one LLMD in NY ( I am in PA), and he wanted $600 for a visit. I gave up.
You are the only one I have heard that shared this thing with me about
having blood pressure taken.
That cuff starts to inflate and before it's over I want to fall to the floor in pain! I have them at least not do the right arm, that was operated on.
But even before, when I had my times in remission, that cuff would hurt. Lets not even discuss mammograms.
I have my own bp monitor, and I set it properly to 2-30 pts above my usual systolic number. I can handle 150-180. That is the instructions with it, and it doesn't hurt so badly.
Lets try asking the person taking if they can set the inflation numbers down a notch or two.
Yeah, the LLMD thing is exactly what I ran into as well, and that is reportedly fairly cheap for a consult. Though others later on are generally cheaper as Girlie pointed out.
The main reason why I went with herbs.
I am so glad somebody feels the same about
BP cuffs, I had mine at home set up to 200 and I could not take it,
Can you please direct me to a link about
the herbs? I would really appreciate it.
I found out that no gluten/sugar works for me well, it's just hard in winter.
