Its taking THREE business days working w/a pharmacy and my Ins company to come to a price for 60 day treatment of Alinia, that I dont even know if itll be effective, OR will it cause such bad herxing that Ill have to stop treatment...
Im having herxing JUST from using colloidal silver nasal spray ALONE= NO OTHER treatment focus-JUST THAT!
GEEZ, whats gonna happen when I add the alinia? I guess Im quite worried about
it!!!!
Anyone have ANY words of encourgement? Is that weird ASKING for people to 'talk' me IN to a treatment?

Alinia is a great drug in my opinion.
Hits Babesia, some parasites, and potentially Lyme, and it doesn't interact with many other medications I've read.

I know that one LLMD says to take 1 pill (500 mg) twice daily.
What dosage are yours' mcspike?

If you're herxing with the silver alone...maybe wait until you stop herxing or do less silver when you add in the Alinia.

MSCpike,
Are you new to Lyme? Perhaps you need more detoxing before you are ready for the abx.
My family has Lyme. I did abx for 3 months but only doing herbs. I herx on everything, but not silver. I can take high doses.
My son is on 3-4 different abx. and also herxes.
Husband was on three-four different abx. for 3 months and never herxed.
His new protocol has Alinia. He took it for 30 days and was told to stop after that. Not sure if it will be reintroduced. While he didn't herx, he was considerably more tired than first protocol that did not have Alinia, now it could just be cumulative abx. in body.
Thirty days worth was $55.00.

check out this thread for a few options on how to get Alinia for much less then what your insurance wants to charge you. It's from this past weekend.

Alinia is not a great drug in my opinion. Did not do nothing. My family(5 people) has used it for last two years. Unsuccessfully.

I recently found a site where no script
is needed...I hadn't checked for Alinia though.
I can't find the link in my folder...but if you're interested I will keep searching for it.

Alinia is crazy expensive. My LLMD had me on it 3 consecutive days a week. Good herx for babesia round 1, half a herx round 2, nothing round 3. It did help but didn't see it doing anything more than coartem for me.

It helped me a ton. It may make a difference with what else you are taking.
