I am almost certain that I have bartonella and parasties, and potentially lyme as well. I have been self-treating with the Biopure Quintessense product since April 13, and I got myself to be able to tolerate 2-3 dropperfuls per day pretty quickly. I have also been taking 1/2 to 1 tsp 2x/day of mimosa pudica for about
a month now.
5 days after starting the Quintessense, my GP took my liver enzyme levels and they were 80 on a scale from 0-40
Could this have been from the herbs directly? Or potentially my liver struggling to process the die off from the bugs? Has anybody else experienced this?

Are you taking valerian by any chance? That can raise liver enzymes. It definitely did for me.

no, I'm not. The only herbs I take are the ones I listed. Other supplements are methylfolate and minerals

Yes, herbs can raise liver enzymes, but so do these infections as do the toxins that can be produced.
Blue is on the right track - get your detoxing aimed at your liver for now. You can still use herbs and natural things to help detox the liver well, or whatever you choose.

I had issues w/ liver enzymes while on Rx antiviral so I went on milk thistle seed, levels went back down. Then I started an Rx antiviral and they shot up again so I added burdock root and they went back down. After that I've added in IV abx and at least 5 other antimicrobial herbs w/out any issue. As long as I stay on them I'm good.
Once I get off the abx soon I'll do a liver cleanse, as they seem to be quite helpful.
