Has anyone else been on Beyond Balance BB-2 and BAB-1?

I started taking three drops of each 2 times a day 5 days ago. Along with daily Plaquenil, Artemesia+ capsules, and pulsing Minocycline (mon-thur) and Zithromax (fri-sun). I also take cat's claw and stevia drops, but have been taking those for some time.

What I have noticed thus far is that while my bad days usually last 4-5 days at the worst, I am currently on day 7. Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Symptoms are not super different from before but mostly, naseau, shakiness, night sweats, weakness, and fatigue. I've been an abx for about 9 months now and am past being sick of being sick.

Thoughts?

I did BB-1 and then BB-2 along with tox ease gl.

I did not do antibiotics with them.

I felt wonderful on those herbs and that is what helped me decide to do even more herbs.

but, like I said, I was not doing antibiotics at the same time.

I have taken both of those Beyond Balance tinctures - and others made by BB.

Everyone is different but the important thing is those symptoms are pretty common when you're on antimicrobials---and you are taking a LOT right now. I also took antimicrobial herbs with my antibiotics - many of us do for a more comprehensive approach.

So your body needs time to adjust and slowly lower the microbial load. You'll likely want to titrate up to optimal doses slowly and carefully and when you do that, your sx will likely increase for a little while and then hopefully sx will start subsiding.

And you'll want to add in considerable detoxing to help your body process everything.

I guess my interest is in knowing how potent these tinctures are. It seems to be thicker and smellier than other tinctures that I take. But its hard to know herb content and strength of herb when compared to say the "normal" tintures you buy at the health store for 10-20 bucks. Is this like, a prescription strength tincture. Because having been on some of the Buhner protocol in the past, I know that some tinctures you want to take like 20-30 drops up to 3 times a day. So its hard for me to put 1 or 2 drops in a glass of water and think im doing anything at all.

Let me know if this makes any sense.

My understanding is that the Beyond Balance tinctures are quite a bit less concentrated than, say, Byron White or some other combo tinctures that are somethings as much as 10:1 ratio compared to BB. I think they smell better, too.

However, the combo tinctures like BB, BW, and some other top-end antimicrobials are VERY different than anything you buy OTC at health food stores. This is why many are typically attainable only through your LLMD. Protocols like Buhner's does use individual components but generally symbiotically within a group.

Yes, it's very normal to start with 1 or 2 drops a day on the BB products. They are powerful, titrate slowly. I wouldn't wait until all symptoms are gone entirely, you need to push yourself a little bit. Titrate up as you are able to manage it, detoxing all the way...

I think the Beyond Balance tincture seem thicker because they are made with glycerin instead of alcohol.

I agree with this about the glycerine. I love the taste and smell of BB-2. The cloves is awesome. But I still did one drop at a time and slowly moved up.
