Looking for the best way to starting testing

Hello Everyone,
I am working with a LLND. Looks as if Igenix is still the go to lab. Igenix had suggested LYME PANEL B. I did read that PCR is not the most accurate. So maybe just going with the western blot? They also suggested 5095
New Complete Co-Infection Panel. I do want to be thorough job of testing, but I also want to be smart with the money spent.

The LLND also suggested CD-57 NK cells, immunoglobulin panel (checking IgG, IGM, IgA and IgE levels), C4a, and CD 57 Nk cells.

Just wondering what are peoples experiences with starting out with testing?

For Lyme I would suggest just the Lyme WB IgM and IgG $210 with Igenex.

Coinfections - many of us don't do them - it depends on how much you want to spend.
The testing for co's is even more unreliable than for Lyme.

Some LLMD's will clinically diagnose the co's as they treat the Lyme.

Getting a negative result for the coinfections won't tell you anything - but a positive will (obviously)

Do you have any experience with testing CD-57 NK cells, immunoglobulin panel (checking IgG, IGM, IgA and IgE levels), C4a, and CD 57 Nk cells.

I suggest the dna connexions test and direct microscopy. ...giemsa staining can be done for coinfections quite easily

Here is an interesting article on CD57, C3a and C4a. I don't think they're helpful tests in telling you much definitive info UNLESS your MD or insurance company insists on them and the results can also support treatment/coverage, etc.
