Finally scored....

Received 4 weeks of 200mgs 2x per day of doxy from my ID doc today. This should hold me over until I have my apt with the LLMD in early July. Hopefully this round will knock these remaining nagging symptoms out of me. The Cefuroxime wasn't doing much

overall it wasn't that bad, although the 400mgs of Doxy wasn't an easy sell. He agreed that all my symptoms are related to Lyme and explained to me that it can take some people longer to get it all out of their system. He did order more blood work to test for all the co-infections.

I'm glad he at least acknowledge the link between your sx and Lyme. Most MDs never even get that far. But no, that is not why people need sufficient treatment that the current guidelines ignore.
