Hi physedgirl. I see Dr S. He had lyme, too and he treated one of his office workers who went into remission. I have been seeing him since the end of 2012. I have methylation issues so he goes slow with me. I stopped treatment and was only on 100 mg of doxy twice a day (at his request) to work on the methylation problems since last year and have gotten worse again. I just made another appointment with him and will see him next week.
He is very quiet and doesn't do much explaining unless you ask him questions so be prepared with a list. I have learned alot from this site. He will want you on probiotics and glutithione with alka-seltzer gold, vit c and stick to a low carb diet and eliminating dairy and sugars. He also recommends resveretrol. Don't expect a long visit. He knows what he is doing and i wish I had been more informed of treatment protocols prior to first seeing him. Don't be afraid to ask him many questions. Once he knows you he will be more talkative.
If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.
