Started yesterday with Flagyl and next week with Augmentin. Some of you mentioned to detox. I'm not using these for Lyme but bone infection.
So still same protocol? The usual detox approaches? What about
binders? And ok to still take all my supps/ herbs?
Thanks friends. Grateful for you!

Even though those IV abx are for your bone infection, they will still be hitting the lyme and co's.
So, be prepared for a herx....
Yes, detox and take your binders.

I agree with Girlie - do the detoxing as this will also hit the infections.
Best of luck!!!!!

Thanks! Just one other question... So logically then I can take binders, probiotics, etc anytime because the ABX are bypassing the gut? Or is there still a concentration window I should avoid? I have my IV's around 1pm daily.

TbL -
I would maintain good buffers (1 hr min.) btwn infusions and probiotics and binders. The abx bypass GI for main delivery (instead pumped directly into blood stream) but the meds do also reach the GI to address infection there, too.

TrialbyLyme, where are you getting infusions? Who prescribed the infusion meds? I have funnelisformis mosseae, and can only take 3 drops of oregano oil twice a week, which does me in. Nothing has helped with herxing...it's so bad I can't walk.
