Neuro lyme?

Hey guys, Id like to see if anyone else has had any of my symptoms since Im not getting a clear answer.

It all started about two months ago with bad bone pain! It would hurt in my bones when I bent, when I opened door knobs, when I applied pressure to my arms or legs, etc. I seriously thought it was cancer! Around that time I started experiencing mild eye pain and floaters way more than usual. The bone pain calmed down after a couple of weeks but then I started developing new symptoms. For about a week I started having paresthesias and full body nerve pain. My muscles started hurting and cramping, I have developed full body twitching, forgetting things, intermittent joint paint, on and off weakness in arms etc etc. basically mostly neuro! I saw a neurologist and she ordered the MRI. Long story short, they found two small non specific lesions in my brain. Doc told me they dont look like ms lesions and now Im thinking it could be lyme since it all started wth the bone pain! Does anyone have some insight? I dont remember a bulls eye rash or a tick bite so I dont really know ☹️

Sounds familiar to me. Mine started with joint pain... and your other symptoms sound like mine.

Caution about the testing.... it is not accurate. Here are some labs that do better than Labcorp or Quest in America.

Also, there are many, and I mean many, that never have a bit or a bull's eye rash and have lyme disease.

make sure you test though Igenex.

Maybe it is time to try herbs???

Yes exact same it was bartonella lyme ..ever had cats ?

Thats very interesting. I spoke to my primary care physician about the possibility of lyme but he completely dosregarded it and said as long as I didnt have a bit or a rash then theres no way and apparently its really rare in our area but I feel it would be even rarer in los angeles! Neuro didnt have a problem sending me for a blood test so I will be getting one soon.

I was just diagnosed myself and completely understand you. These could all be symptoms of lyme. It took me 3 months to be diagnosed since I myself never saw a tic or a bull's eye rash and on top of that was living in LA. I must have been to the doctor 5 times and ER 3 times and they all missed it. When I returned to New York it was my father who told me to get checked since he is an avid outdoors-man and he knows a lot about it.

Thats what I had and I totally thought it would be MS but apparently with Ms symptoms are localized.

I had acute onset full body nerve pain from Lyme and coinfections. It's definitely warranted to get an extensive work up for Lyme.

It has gotten a little better especially the last 2 months. I've been dealing with this since the beginning of 2014. I was healthy prior to that.

Couple of things. I went years and at lest 5 tests for Lyme Disease, which, according to CDC criteria, did not match Lyme Disease. But it was eventually diagnosed as Lyme Disease by a doctor who knew LD.

Every other test, it seems, known to man, had been performed for every imaginable disease. Once treated for Lyme Disease, symptoms, eventually, faded. Recent relapse has me treating again. Point it, it was Lyme Disease.

It started with headaches, which I could never remember having in my life. Not saying you have Lyme Disease, but, as many others will and have attested, there is a good chance it could be.

And I live in Georgia, where three different doctors said "there is no Lyme Disease in Georgia, which is ridiculous. Advocate for yourself until you find an answer.

I attended a conference chaired by a renowned (and published) Lyme doc. One of my biggest takeaways was when he said "What distinguishes Lyme from any other disease is that the pain is migratory."
