new sweats, what could this mean?

up until a few months back, I've never been aware of night sweating

now, it's evident to me I wake up with a wet neck and the hair on back of the head despite a cool room.

I'm thinking I've put a good dampening on Bart (Rifampin) for the past 6 months that Babs is flourishing?

I'm taking Doxy, Tinidazole, and Rifampin.

how do I tell if Bart is gone/under control?

Possibly. According to Buhner, Bart will dampen Babs, but since you are attacking Bart, the Babs may be rearing up. Do you have any of the other usual suspects that might be joining the party?

Night sweats from changing thyroid levels is VERY common. Any of these tick ills can cause thyroid issues.

A change in hormone levels could be the culprit, but so can Babesia. And since you are treating Bart, it would make sense that if you have Babs, that the symptoms are becoming more prominent as you lower the bacterial loads of other infections.

Have you tested positive for Babs, or has your LLMD diagnosed you clinically with/suspected it?
