Can it be? I started Septra last week and normally when I start something new I get a splitting migraine and feel like crap getting my herx on for a few weeks. But not this go around?! I had like one half day of major nausea and head pain. Can this mean that I'm actually chipping away at the bacterial load??
I start giving myself rocephin shots soon, as soon as the pharmacist approves the lidocaine component and I'm excited to attack these buggers even more. Feeling hopeful today and that feels awesome!

We all need any encouragement we can get from our treatments, otherwise as you well know, life gets very discouraging. So I'm thrilled Septra has been encouraging.
I've never taken it so I can't comment from experience. Kudos to you for self administering the upcoming rocephin shots!
Shots don't bother me at all, unless I'm the one doing it. LOL. Let's see if I can spell 'squeamish'. After doing dogs, cats, and horses uncountable times, will NOT give them to myself. And probably no other humans either, that I like. hahaha.

Yay - this is good, Chick! Yes, definitely - you are lowering the bacterial load!
Are you still on the Mepron, Alinia and Azithromycin? Cuz that's a lotta meds!!!!????

I'm currently taking azithromycin, Septra, plaquenil and Mepron plus rocephin will be pulsed once I get it.
It's a lot of meds but my body is hanging in there! I'm phasing out some of the herbals as well. For some reason I just don't make much progress with them. 😕

Congratulations, Chick!! Woo hooo!!!!
I hope that you find this combo works for you!!!
Not everyone gets a lot of help from herbs, it's so individual! But, you may find they may be of help later on in your treatments if you feel you may need them.

So happy to hear you are seeing improvements, that is so awesome! we need any little positive sign that improvement is taking place, these journeys can be such a grueling grind it is great to be reminded that our efforts are being rewarded and that we are making positive headway towards better health.

Yes, surely this is nice progress.I am now on many Abx., antivirals and artemisin, Tinidazol and do not feel daily very sick, so I also think I am making nice progress even not as nicely as you.
Enjoy it!
