Have you checked into Infusio? I don't know anything about it, but have seen it mentioned.

If you have a LLMD that is willing to prescribe the IV treatments, you will need to find a place that does infusion therapies. I know many Lyme patients receive their treatments at home with a home health nurse coming in to either do the infusions or at least do bandage changes when needed.

I'm sure those that are more familiar with IV treatments will be along shortly to guide you better!

IV abx have helped me the most. It's not so much as a place that does IV abx as finding a physician who will prescribe them for you. Not every LLMD wants to mess with IV abx or only use them for certain cases.

First do your homework if you have medical coverage. Good thing is IV is covered under medical not Rx plan. Bad news is most insurance companies may only allow 30 days then shut you off coverage and you must first reach your deductible. If you are paying 100% yourself Infuserve America can supply everything as Bluelyme said. Cost is a little under $800 per month. Home infusion is easy, but may need an extra hand with weekly bandage and snap lock changes.

Down load a booklet called "Infusion for Lymies" and see if its right for you. If all you will get covered for is 30 days and don't have the resources to go the long haul it may not be worth the effort, and consider IM Rocephin or IM Bacillin instead.

I got the first 30 days covered by insurance (it still cost 800 bucks or so for a month), so my doctor ordered one of the most expensive abx. After that i went out of pocket with Infuserve for 700 bucks per month for supplies and abx (Azithro and Ceftriaxione)
