Greetings friends
I had a friend visit from Iowa last week. She told me she had a wasp bite that wasn't getting better. And asked if I wanted to look at it. I finally did. It was not a wasp bite! A mutual friend who is a doctor and also at the local conference took a look and said, "get home to a doctor and get doxy"
By the next day she was feeling tired and fluish. She got three weeks of doxy and began to feel better. She had a trip planned to El Salvador and went. She texted me and is feeling better. But she said something interesting. The test was positive for Lyme. Are there test for Lyme that come back that quickly? By the way, she has a lake house in MN. I think she might have gone back to MN. So perhaps they have some test in their high lyme area that does a rapid lyme test - like a rapid strep?
Also I am very concerned about
her. Should I send her astragalus to follow the doxy? I texted her a picture of the bottle, but I doubt she'll go out and get it. She will likely take it if I send it and send an article as well.
Thanks
