Unfortunately, no it may not show a positive result ....but hopefully it will at least show one or more Lyme "specific " bands which is enough to back up a clinical diagnosis of Lyme.
When I got my positive test result after 15 months of symptoms and oodles of lab work and specialist appts (2 endocrinologists , a Neurologist, a Physiatrist, a hormone specialist, an ENT dr. ) I walked in the door and my husband said "well....?"
I burst into tears..relieved and happy I now had something I could treat.
No, it's not sad for you to want a positive result.
(It sure beats MS, ALS, Parkinson's diagnoses)
