Is there such a thing? Or does it matter if the cardiologist I see is lyme literate or not?

I believe there are Lyme cardiologists out there. Hopefully more responses will come in soon. Take care, Jo

Went and did a search and found 3 cardiologist knowing lyme "near" zip code 28304.

I have emailed them to you.

It might help to have a regular one do some initial testing for and EKG, echo, etc. But one who knows nothing about Lyme would probably not know how to treat any problems? Read or possibly youtube the story of Neil Spector, MD, from Duke.... he was treated by the best but without a diagnosis of Lyme ended up days from death and a heart transplant. Do you have an LLMD?

Hoagie - I have a name for a Lyme 'friendly' Cardiologist in Georgetown University. I think that is in Washington, DC.
That would be a long drive though.
