No personal experience here, but after looking it up, orally it treats high blood pressure, so do be sure that anything that you take won't interact or interfere with Minoxidil (the active ingredient).
I also did find this on the use of Minoxidil
orally: "Minoxidil is a vasodilator. It reduces blood pressure by relaxing and dilating (widening) blood vessels. Blood flows more freely and at a lower pressure through dilated blood vessels."
www.drugs.com/cdi/minoxidil.html So do be careful with any other meds/herbs/supplements that may have the same action. Even though you are using it topically (I assume) it will likely still have some of the same action since it's still being absorbed through the skin.
