Heart Palpitations

I've been continuing to ramp up on Buhner's core protocol and doing well on low doses. I had added every thing except JK. 1/8tsp pf eleuthero powder in the morning gave me one day of anxiety but was fine for 4 days later.

I tried to add a second dose of 1/8th tsp yesterday, and I kept waking up last night with the worst heart palpitations, and I just had another one.

I'm not sure it was the eleuthero, but I didn't take any just in case. I was hesitant about the herb to begin with, but now I am pretty anxious about it.

Anyone else get palpitations from such a small amount of eleuthero?

Anyone else have experience with having palpitations and getting them to go away?

Did you stop taking it?

I am until I see my llmd. In an old post PeteZa mentioned having trouble with Eleuthero and not taking it. Fatigue is not one of my symptoms so I am not too concerned about skipping it for right now. Despite the palpitations, are you feeling any better?

Counting, I have had heart palpitations mildly throughout my illness. Most of the time, I don't notice them. But, they come out in full force when I am herxing. Is there any chance this could be a herx? Of course, if you don't think the eleuthero agrees you, you should stop and check with your doctor.
