I had itchy, weepy, pustules all over my body for NO reason after my Dad died. No new detergents, no strange foods, nothing. I did an elimination diet. I tried EVERYTHING under the sun and nothing worked. I felt like a witch in the woods, concocting potions. I tried everything from steroids to gentian violet. Finally, I was covered in them, head to toe. They would itch and weep like crazy. Heat made them worse. I was miserable. One doctor said it was scabies, another said it was some kind of pox or shingles. It wasn't either. I kept my diet clean for 6 months and even after, I stopped sugar, wheat, dairy forever. I suffered for three years. It must have been the diet that helped.
about
a week before my wedding, I was miserable that I would have to take photos covered in this mystery rash. And then one day, about
a day before my wedding, it was 99% gone. Just like that. Not one doctor ever called it eczema, but that's what it was. It was dermatitis and I've concluded on my own that it was stress induced. I still get small patches now and again between the webbing of my fingers.
BTW, zinc made it worse. Try a small area first. Lavender essential oil helps immensely. Again, try a small area first, but that was the only thing that helped me. I think someone on this forum mentioned it. I wished I'd had it 10 years ago. You could add lavender to coconut oil or almond oil and use it as a moisturizer. I also cut out all unnatural body products, except for deodorant. And just as a rule, we don't use inorganic cleaning supplies. When I had the energy, I was making my own. It's very easy, actually. I even made my own laundry soap.
