Alternatives to Flagyl?

Are there any herbal alternatives to Flagyl that work well? I'm supposed to be taking it this week, but my father and grandmother died of cancer so I'm not interested in increasing my cancer risk.

Well there's Tinidazole - it's the same class as Flagyl - the studies on mice/rats and bladder cancer was with Flagyl.
But, being similar - it cld come with same risk.

- the cancers your father and grandmother had - was there a genetic component?


You could do GSE for a cyst buster

i think the fear of taking flagyl/tinidazole are overblown. i've been pulsing it for 8 months and i was on it for months last year and the year before and no issues thus far. it's a powerful broad spectrum antibiotic that feels like its napalm to the bugs. not really a replacement for it except anti-microbial herbs but effectiveness will vary.

Girlie, different cancers, different sides of the family. My father had non-Hodgkins lymphoma and then a heart cancer and my mother's mother had lung cancer.

Ugh, I don't know how to decide.

Nitazoxanide (Alinia) is considered similar to the Tinadazole class. It is a pricey drug if acquired within the system however it is very reasonably priced if obtained through overseas pharmacies/dealers.

But is Alinia an effective cyst buster - ChickenArise? I haven't heard it being used for that.

Is that what it's been prescribed for, Dahlias?

I think so.

Are biofilms different from cysts? I was taking Sarsaparilla for biofilms before. I think it did release a bunch of spirochetes because I believe I gave myself a huge increase in symptoms by continuing that while on a break from doxy and then a massive herx when I started abx again.

There seems to be a mixed opinion on cyst busting effects

I am certain it helped clear the discoloration of the tongue attributed to Bartonella. If it has action against Borellia also as suggested then you are getting a lot of bang for the buck in this med. This would likely be the drug I would return to first (dosing in cycles) if the herbs I am taking are not effective in the long term.

EDIT: I just noticed the OP was asking about herbs as opposed to drug substitutions. If it helps I am using Woodland Essence's CSA and MYCO formulas to treat Bartonella and mold. I would use their CSA with Auntie-Vi formulas if I were treating Babesia. Monolauren supplement seems to work on Borellia. One of the posters here recommended sublingual use but warned of the awful taste.

I have seen anecdotes of people recommending colloidal silver and GSE but I am beginning to suspect that colloidal silver can only suppress and will not resolve the issue. Although suppression for temporary relief is better than suffering.

flagyl/tinidazole definitely hits all 3 B's. is it enough to eradicate a chronic infection no but it does have impact especially against parasites like babesia. and yes it also busts cysts open. its really a staple drug in the arsenal for treating folks with chronic tick borne illnesses.

herbs are great but my belief is most people don't take large enough doses and not long enough to see step improvements over time. we just aren't used to having the patience necessary to whittle these infections down when they're chronic. months is the snap of a finger with this stuff progress should be measured no smaller than every 3 months if you ask me.

Yes biofilms are different than cysts.
