Anyone have recommendations/experiences for a fairly inexpensive infrared sauna?

one option is to get 3 or 4 of these and mount them in a closet. screw in some incandescent infrared bubls, you are good to go

These bulbs create a lot of heat so use caution and a socket capable of housing the bulbs.

I have a similar one and they are easy cheap and awesome

Do they get hot enough? I saw in some of the reviews people saying they only get up to 90 degrees or so.

I ended up building my own NIR sauna in my spare bathroom. I used Dr. Wilson's sauna plan with 4 bulbs: http://drlwilson.com/SAUNAS/SAUNA%20PLANS.htm I got my bulbs from RubyLux. I did the Grade-B NIR-A bulbs. Works great for me.
