Safety of Sida Acuta w/ Pharmaceuticals

Does anyone know if it's safe to add Sida Acuta to a pharmaceutical protocol?
I am currently on:

Atovaquone (Mepron)
Azithromycin

I've had no issues taking sida with antibiox (rifampin/mino/doxy/tini). Right now I'm taking 6 herbals with mino/rifampin trying to get rid of bart.

I've taken a ton of Sida with abx and no issues.

Since you are trying to combat Babesia and considering herbs I would recommend Cryptolepis, Sida Acuta and Artemisinin. The first 2 you can take daily the Artemisinin you should pulse.

same here... started with adding Cat's Claw, then Crypto, then Sida, then CSA and Jap Knotweed to my pretty potent ABX combos. Just add herbal items in slowly and one at a time to better gauge any herx or allergic reaction.

Hi I took Sida with ABX also and no issues.


But per Buhner 2nd edition on p.420 he says:
Since the herb is hypoglycemic,it may affect medications for diabetes. Just watch your blood sugar levels if diabetic.

Since the herb contains ephedrine,it probably should not be used with pharmaceuticals that possess similar effects.


Just in case anyone is taking medications for issues other than Lyme and co.

there's so little ephendrine in sida i'm not even sure why buhner bothers mentioning it probably for liability reasons ;o)
