Hi Aurora, I had that for years and kept having tests and scans and everything came back negative. This was before I knew I had Lyme, the pressure and burning on my scalp, my head felt so heavy and swollen in areas, my eye pain was mainly in the right eye.
The tinnitus and loss of hearing started a couple of years after that and still comes back if I get really stressed or overtired. Abx didn't relieve any of the above, I am now back working full time with a 2.5 hour commute each day - I can't really do a lot of other things which I why I don't get on here as much as I would like but I am just so happy to be back at work, and need to be able to earn some money to afford the herbs etc. as I am still taking quite a lot and high doses as when I try and cut back the symptoms start to reappear.
I take the Buhner lyme and Bart protocol, have acupuncture - weekly at first and now monthly and massage the 11 essential essentials oils that help fight Lyme disease.
Frankincense, Tea Tree, Cinnamon, Thyme, Marjoram, Oregano, Clove Oil and
Rosemary, Lavender, Rose, Geranium – These four essential oils in particular are known for their ability to stop the infectious borrelia from communicating with each other. Therefore, they are helpful in preventing relapse or reactivity in the long run.
I mix the oils with a bit of good olive oil as the carrier oil and just rub a bit onto the soles of my feet each morning. One day I will be courageous enough to ingest a drop !
I have found that Isatis, Houttuynia, Alchornea Cordifolia and Sida Acuta really helped push these symptoms away, it took a good few months but I noticed the difference and some relief almost immediately. Gou Teng for the neuro symptoms has been a must for me too as well as vinpocetine for the hearing and huperzine-A.
