Quercitin with egcg?

Combined. He gives detailed instructions on the EGCG in the bartonella book. The below is taken from page 159 in the bartonella book.


1. Serum albumin levels need to be highish. If it's low, bioavailable levels of EGCG is low.
2. Keep EGCG in the refrigerator.
3. Don't expose EGCG to the air for any length of time. Will render it useless.
4. EGCG needs to be taken with soft not hard water. (I take it with distilled water.)
5. Don't take it with milk. Milk will inactivate it.

Bioavailability of EGCG can be significantly enhanced if taken with 1200mg/day of Quercetin or 200mg ascorbic acid (Vit C) or 1,000 mg omega-3 fatty acids will all increase its bioavailability. Quercetin itself is very good at treating cytokine cascade problems. EGCG is also more effective if combined with Japanese knotweed, Vit E, and/or NAC.

That was the plan, however I got my results back and it seems I have babs and bart too, want to start taking herbs for them and would prefer to stay with a herbal protocol but I’m seeing my doc on Friday so will see what he says

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure minerals are what makes the water hard. Distilled water is real cheap. I just buy the gallon jugs at Walmart or the grocery store and put my quercetin powder in it and take the EGCG with it. Just don't drink distilled water all day. It's not good to drink all the time but I can't remember why - maybe because you won't get enough minerals.

I had no idea about storing in the refrigerator. Label doesn't give those instructions... Wonder if pills have lost their potency.
