Gluten Ease and similar suppliments? Any experience?

This question pertains to gluten sensitive individuals, and those choosing to avoid gluten, NOT CELIAC disease.

This particular suppliment says it helps in the digestion of gluten. If thats all it takes to ease gluten symptoms, this sounds to easy.

The question has risen that maybe its the Round up chemical on today's wheat causing gluten symptoms with some people. In that case, these same people would have issues with corn and any other plants with Round up applied directly to them. As far as I can tell, I have no corn issues that I can feel, but some people do.

I did not consume any grains for a while, I slowly re-introduced non-glutan grains, but still low volume.

Glutan beer vs GF or Glutan removed beer has a night and day gut comfort difference- a good comparison for sure.

Note: "gluten removed" beer is as tasty as regular beer, but they wont guarantee 100% is gone due to the celiac liability. Its $8-$11 a six pack though.

Just had my third GF , dairy free "fake" pizza last night. On sale, $8, not worth $1, yuck.

I just cooked/ate some G/F , and dairy free "Bell and Evans" breaded chicken tenders and water. No gut "grumbles", all is good.

Even G/F, this is still on the edge of junk food, as it is no longer paleo.

These are slightly more processed but also with gluten and dairy in the breading:

Tyson breaded tenders and McDonalds chicken nuggets, both eaten alone will make my gut slightly grumble with "odorous" effects lol. So obviously I wonder if some GlutenEase supplement would stop this from happening.

Do an experiment and try the GlutenEase.
Is it a digestive enzyme? or?

Eventually, I will experiment with this, but I thought I'd ask here first if anyone has tried these. I'm sure someone has, this week is pretty desolate here though.

Says aids in digestion of gluten, I have not fully researched it. There are other brands as well. If these work, why dont we hear about them? They are not new to the market place.

Yeah GlutenEase is awful. I have celiac, don't even bother with it.

If you need a good sandwich try the gluten free breakfast sandwich from starbucks. It's amazing.

GlutanEase is a supplement. Curious as in what way is it "Awful"? Price/taste.... more important> the effectiveness..?

I eat plenty of G/F foods already, for one year. Asking about it because I'm tired of G/F foods.

I'm not celiac.

This is a health choice (which does improve my health so far), just looking at other possible options. Dont want to be hard core GF for eternity.

well that would be bad advertising then....wow.

I'm still avoiding gluten and probably always will. But I know people who have used Gluten Ease and swear by it. One friend takes it before eating every time she goes out to eat because she has been "glutened" by too many restaurants who say something is gluten free, when it's really not.

Shouldn’t be used if you have celiac.

Maybe that is the difference between this working or not.

I would not rely on such a product for daily use, but use it for certain situations- if it worked.

Being gluten free cuts your social life into nothing LOL. Travel eating is very chalanging in more remote areas / small town America. I always have a small cooler with my own bread and snacks on the road.

It’s much better now than it was 10 years ago.

Just stick to meat, salads (no croutons) and potatoes.

Big towns its easier. But key word here- remote travels. Its hard to get a remote roadside G/F meal without throwing away half of it. Hipsters influence have made GF more available in metro areas. Remote is not "hipster" territory though LOl.

If McDonalds made a GF fast food meal, they would gain customers thats they've lost. It would still be junk food probably, but at least its food when your driving 2-3 hrs town to town.

I got a McDonalds salad near the end of the civilized world, only to learn they had no GF salad dressing at that location. Even Chicken nuggets with a rice or corn batter could be possible vs there their gluten one.

One regional burger place in ws and mn does in fact have g/f buns now, obviously its still fast food though.

Perkins is the only national chain in medium and sometimes smaller towns with a g/f menu that I know about.
