I use it.
Just separate it from your abx by a few hours.
So if you take abx at 7:00am - take the charcoal at 9:00 or later
Or if your evening dose of abx is 6:00 pm take the charcoal around 4:00 or after 8:00.
The charcoal will sweep out what’s in your digestive tract only - not what’s in your blood.
Drink lots of water - one glass isn’t enough for me.
I need two or I’m constipated from it
Actually, it does affect what's in the blood stream as well as the GI tract:
/link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF03259824"Role of Repeated Oral Doses of Activated Charcoal in Clinical Toxicology"
"Belz and Bader (1974) showed that oral activated charcoal, 2g three times a day, reduced the
plasma concentrations of methylproscillaridin (1 mg intravenously). "Oh great!!! This is disconcerting. Traveler - I wonder if the higher amount (6000 mg daily) makes a difference?
I take 1000 mg once or twice daily....
