I had my first appointment with my LLND yesterday!!!

If you all are following along with my journal, you know that I've been self-treating with the Buhner Protocol for over a month now. I finally found a LLND who works along side a MD to get prescriptions (if needed). Well, this is what I was given at my appointment yesterday. She suspects based on my symptoms that I have Bartonella and Babesia as well as Lyme. I'm getting a lot of tests run later this week (covered by insurance). I was given 2 prescriptions as well as some herbal/homeopathic things to take.

Prescription:
1. Nystatin - 500,000 IU - 2 tablets per day
2. Azithromycin - 500mg - 1 tablet per day

Other Stuff:
1. Pekana Basic Detoxification and Drainage Kit - 15 drops of each 2x per day http://www.modernherbalist.com/pekana.html[url]
2. Grapfruit Seed Extract - 2 capsules 2x per day
3. A-L Complex Byron White Formula - 1 drop per day. Every 5 days you add another drop. 2 weeks from now, I will be adding in A-BAB (same protocol) and 2 weeks from then, I will be adding in A-BART (same protocol)
4. 7-Keto - 1 capsule 3x per day

I did the Byron White for a while. It's very potent. But they worked well for me.

It is definitely potent. I herxed off of 1 drop yesterday. She didn't mention anything about taking the grapefruit seed extract away from the azithromycin. It looks like I will be on both the Nystatin and Azithro for at least 3 months. So I'm expecting to feel like crap for awhile, but we will see!
