Are you saying that it's from the Rifampin...or from bart?

Dystonia like repetitive muscle twitches? Rifampin increased my twitching ten-fold when I was on it, but I don't think this was an effect of the Rifampin, it was my Bartonella flaring that the Rifampin was working against.

Twitching is a classic Bartonella symptom, and Rifampin is a Bart drug. My Bart twitches that Rifampin brought out feel repetitive, fluttery, "under the skin," and last anyway from a couple seconds to a minute. I get them most often in my butt, thighs, shoulders/chest, and eyelids.

dystonia - is not twitching (which are fasciculations)

With dystonia - the muscles contract involuntarily - causing repetitive twisting motions.

I've had the fasciculations...and mostly they can't be seen - they're under the skin...except a few bad ones here and there I could see...but still not like dystonia.
