I like garlic too. It makes me smell awful, but it really seems to help. Lately I've been trying some parsley to help cover up the smell.

two days is not enough to notice anything, especially for chronic infections. what u are noticing is either:
- placebo, you started taking something (in your case garlic) that your brain remembers it may help you, so you now experience only the positive part of the day. This is why doctors run placebo-controlled trials. When patient's opinion about
symptoms is important, they give patients either the real pill or a fake pill (both look identical) in order to remove the placebo component
- this disease has ups and downs without you doing anything special. lyme has an autoimmune component and all autoimmune illnesses have ups and downs. We all have good days and bad days. This has nothing to do with garlic
- garlic is good, but you need to eat a lot of it and for a long time. Two days is virtually nothing.

I was taking raw garlic for one month every day, probably 4-5 cloves daily. Besides that I was taking artemisia, cordyceps, zinc/selen and vit c. I was also taking Aronia juice which is good for detox in my experience. All this for babesia symptoms.
I feel better lately but I needed to stop with garlic and artemisia one week ago because I just felt I need a break especially from garlic. My stomach was upset little bit. It was great that I could took so much garlic for long time without much of stomach issues. But I do recommend probiotic with it, can't hurt. And I will probably continue both soon.
I recommend garlic, seems like very good thing.

But it is said that raw garlic should be cut in small pieces before it is eaten, at least few minutes before, and left to get fresh air and produce useful substances.
