Yesterday I had my 4th or 5th BVT session.
I've tolerated the previous sessions quite well.
I've been getting 2 stings per session on the shoulders for some time now. Not very regularly I must admit. Last time I got 3 stings and tolerated it quite well. Only a minor herx.
OK so yesterday I got 3 stings from 3 different bee hives. Not sure how smart that was.
Anyways I supposedly tolerated all 3 stings and felt great that evening.
Went to bed quite late but slept pretty tight until 8am ( thank you bees) . Suddenly jumped out of bed with lots of pain, fatigue, weakness. Throughout the whole entire day I felt like crap, as if I'm becoming sick if that makes any sense lol. It definitely wasn't a typical herx reaction. Morning temp was normal but evening temp is slightly elevated at give or take 100° F
Which actually is the highest body temperature I've achieved in years. I usually only reach 99.5° F ( the typical bartonella temperature AFAIK).
OK so the 2 sting sites on the shoulders look as expected. Slightly reddish without any significant swelling or pain. These 2 sting sites have been stung before unlike the forearm.
The 3rd sting site on my forearm on the other hand looks very swollen and dark red. It doesn't really hurt much, only a bit of itching. Should I be worried?
Overall I've been feeling less miserable this evening when compared to during the day. The extreme fatigue and weakness have subsided somewhat as well as the body aches. Body temperature is currently at 99.5°F .
Why did I feel so sick today? I felt perfectly fine yesterday and the day before.
Thanks for answers.
